The Leonard Falcone International Euphonium and Tuba Festival welcomes your gift of financial support! Our twenty year record of success and growth would not be possible without the generous support of our individual and corporate donors and sponsors. Since our founding in 1986 we have evolved into the premiere annual competition for euphonium and tuba in the world. Each year we award cash prizes totaling $10,900 in four competition categories, with many of these prizes endowed by individuals and corporations. Past prize winners from the Falcone Festival are found throughout the United States and across the globe in prominent low brass performance and teaching positions. |
| In addition to encouraging the highest level of solo performance artistry among young euphonium and tuba artists, we have been able to fulfill many of our other objectives, including the education and development of younger players, the enhancement of solo repertoire for euphonium and tuba, and to foster greater awareness and appreciation for these instruments among the general public. In turn, each of these efforts have allowed us to keep alive the remarkable legacy of Dr. Leonard Falcone, whose distinguished career as an educator, euphonium soloist, and conductor touched so many musicians over the years. Leonard Falcone served for many years as a faculty member at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp – the location where the festival continues to be held. |
| The Falcone Festival intends to grow on this record of success, but cannot do so without your financial assistance. Our current and future targets include enhanced competition prizes, guest artist sponsorship, the building of our endowment fund, and the commission of a major work for tuba and band in celebration of the festival’s 25th year (2010). The Falcone Festival is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization(tax ID # 20-0752701), and your contribution is tax deductible. We have been an autonomous operation, from a budget standpoint, since 2004, when we separated from the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp budget. |
Chances are that you know someone who has benefited from the Falcone Festival in past years, or that you even had the opportunity to know and learn from Dr. Falcone directly. We ask that you help to continue this great legacy with a gift to the Falcone Festival! Please print out a donation form and return it, along with your check, to the festival. |
