ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The Leonard Falcone International Euphonium and Tuba Festival is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
that presents an annual four-day summer event at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Twin Lake,
Michigan. Founded in 1986 as a competition, the Festival expanded in 1991 into a full
educational and performance experience, pairing high-level competitions with
masterclasses, recitals, clinics, and ensemble opportunities led by internationally
recognized euphonium and tuba artists.
Today, student and artist divisions remain at the heart of the Festival, drawing participants
from around the world and creating a setting where emerging performers learn alongside
established professionals. At its core, the Falcone Festival exists to honor the legacy of
Leonard Falcone by supporting excellence in low brass performance, encouraging the next
generation of musicians, and building a welcoming community around shared artistic
standards and meaningful musical growth
